  • Dimensions: 1.89″ x 0.57″ x 0.57″
  • Weight: 0.176 oz
  • USB Type-C Connector
  • Dual-Streaming Supported

This is one of the thinnest and smallest adapters for the Switch I have seen. The size makes it great for portability, and a bonus of working as a stand. The adapter uses Bluetooth 5.0 and APT-X for the lowest latency I have seen or heard.

Setting up is easy, just plug it in and use the two buttons to allow connecting 2 headphones independently. The LEDs indicate the connection status including the audio codec being used. So, the user will know the adapter is using APT-X for streaming. There is no pass-through option, so you cannot charge the Switch while listening.

I was disappointed to see there was no option to use this with a case. Even a thin case like the GripCase couldn’t be used with the Bluetooth adapter. Though when plugged in, it works like a dream. There is very little latency when used with APT-X earphones. The connection was steady and didn’t notice any dropouts.

Watching Youtube on the Switch, I could see a slight delay in the mouth moving and noise coming out. This was very slight and in a game isn’t noticeable at all.

Overall this is a great addition for any Switch kit. Of course, if you own a case, you are stuffed. Finally, check out our other gaming and audio reviews, or find us on Facebook and Twitter.
