Mirroring the traditional Chinese method of cupping, the Smoothee uses vacuum technology to draw the skin up into a cup while providing a deep tissue massage.
Along with infrared heat, the built-in electronic pump enhances this process to loosen and disperse stubborn fat deposits within the layer of connective tissue to create a smoother surface appearance.
Smoothee IR includes a unique cooling head. Gently apply the cold surface onto the skin, moving slowly over the whole of the treated area, to help soothe and firm the skin.
I was super excited to try this out when I saw it and I was not disappointed. It comes all lovely packed and a great forward opening box. It comes with different cup sizes so you can choose which size you’d want to use on which part of your body you are doing it on.
At first, it’s a little scary because it sucks at your skin and can be scary releasing it-just press the power button. I’ve been using this for about two weeks now and although I can’t see a difference in my skin’s texture, my skin does feel super soft.
Overall, I love how easy and simple the HoMedics Smoothee IR is to use. I simply put body oil on my body where I want to use the device and then select the cup and use the device. I will continue to use this and see how I get on but overall I love it and would recommend it to friends and family.
