The FOBO TIRE 2 SMART BLUETOOTH TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM monitors tire pressure in real-time while driving or when within Bluetooth range. It detects a slow or fast leak and alerts users to anomalies. It then transmits readings to an In-Car unit & smartphone where the user can browse. The user can set upper and lower thresholds of the air pressure for each axle.
FOBO TIRE 2 SMART BLUETOOTH TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM Review
With an intelligent In-Car monitoring unit that works on its own or simultaneously with your smartphone, FOBO TIRE 2 monitors up to 800 kPa (116 psi) and give you an alert in the absence of a smartphone. It will monitor the pressure with its smart algorithm and will provide 6-level of alerts when the thresholds are breached.
I was amazed by how easy it was to install the FOBO Tire 2 system. Installation took me around 5 – 10 minutes overall. After installing the app on my phone, I was able to follow the instructions on the screen. Sensors are attached to the type by screwing into the tires air valve. The sensors have to installed in a specific order, you then connect the app to that sensor.
The FOBO Tire 2 system uses two AA batteries (which are included) for the in-car unit. The in-car unit is a sort of backup failsafe, encase there is an issue with the app. The battery life should be around 2 years.
I am slightly concerned about these being stolen off the tyres. But once linked to an account they can’t be re-used, so I am not sure why anyone would want to. The app will tell you if they are removed.
The sensors utilize Bluetooth 5.0, allowing for a much more stable and consistent connection. The sensor pressure range is from 0 to 800kPa, which is a huge jump from the previous version of 350kPa. The sensors are IP57, which makes it protected from limited dust ingress. Also, protected from immersion between 15cm and 1 meter in depth.
Overall if you are driving this SMART BLUETOOTH TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM is a must-have. It’s intuitive and easy to use. Finally, check out Jabba Reviews. Also, follow us on Twitter or Facebook.
