This feels like it’s been cut from a single sheet of metal. They had added a bright glossy finish and sweeping angles. It just slots in between your screen and keyboard. There are splashes of grey, with the felt socks on either side. There is a 1.25-inch gap, allowing slimmer keyboards to slide under. The slope at the back is great for storing marker pens, mobile phones, or a small collection of sweets.

Finally, installation is easy, just take it out of the box and slot onto your desk. I was ready to start doodling writing important work notes. Then when you are done, simply wipe away and it’s ready to go. The metal means that magnetic pens are easy to store.
