The Edifier X3 True Wireless Earbuds aim to deliver CD-class sound quality in a lightweight comfortable design. Qualcomm chipset for strong capability with Bluetooth V5.0, Apt X decoding technology, advanced CVC 8.0 noise cancelling technology, one-step pairing and tap touch control, IP545 dust & waterproof technology.
The X3 True Wireless Earbuds from Edifier are made for the mass market. By that I mean they are completely price and they look sleek and durable. The included case is slim and perfect for pocket travel. It’s covered in a matte rubber making it anti-fingerprint. The earphones are held in by magnets, and it has a solid hinge. I was a little let down by the micro-USB port, as I would’ve liked to see a USB-C port.
Edifier X3 True Wireless Earbuds Review

The earbuds themselves are sturdy and hold up well. The fit was tight but still comfortable. I did have to get a bit of electric tape to cover the LED, as at night this would flash when listening to a podcast. The earbuds have around 6 hours of battery, but the case can bump these up to 24 hours of listening.
Touch controls are a little bit lacklustre. Tapping once will play/pause your music. A long press will activate your voice assistant, while a double tap will skip the track. A final three taps will skip back a track if needed. There are no volume controls and has to be done via the device you are connected to. Bluetooth 5.0 means the connection is on point and I didn’t get a single drop.
Watching videos I didn’t notice a single drop or delay. But I did find when playing games, there was a very small delay in the sound playing and me hearing it. Voice calling is helped by the CVC V.8.0 noise-cancellation. This allows me to hear the other person, and they hear me fine.
Bass and vocals appear to be boosted when listening to music with the X3 earbuds. There is a solid boom from the bass on most tracks, with this being more noticeable on funk and RnB tracks. High highs are just about reached on some tracks, but I wasn’t holding out any hope. Tracks don’t sound harsh or muddy.
Overall, the Edifier X3 True Wireless Earbuds are a great pair of mid-tier earphones. They have a great sound, without over reaching. Finally, check out our site for other reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
