In the ear, these feel comfortable, but they are compact and that made me feel they were coming loose which isn’t great. The true wireless experience hinges on a good, secure fit, and that can be hard to predict when shopping for in-ear headphones.
One attraction for me with true-wireless headphones is the battery life and Edifier have put a lot of effort into this, with fast charging of the case which itself holds three full charges for the headphones. That means a total of 32 hours of battery life.
Automatic on/off toggling when removing the headphones from the case is useful but on occasion, the headphones haven’t automatically connected. But as with most Bluetooth headphones, it’s not hard to power off and on the earpieces to re-connect. The TWS6 provide rich sound details and an exceptionally better sound for the listener.
The embedded silicon microphone is highly sensitive, picking up the user’s voice for clearer call quality. The sound experience on these headphones is good, with a 6mm dynamic driver delivering bass and detail in the compact earbuds. I have been impressed by the consistent signal when I used these over longer distances which means I don’t miss a word of my podcast when I’m making a cuppa.
Edifier has produced a nice looking product that performs. I don’t rate the feel or the fit, but they look great, and the tech inside has been developed well. For me, they work very well for use at my desk and around the office.
