This is a lithium-ion battery powered Bluetooth speaker that packs some punch, with a speaker output of 10W giving enough volume that your music is clear and loud, even over the hubbub of a social gathering. The impressive wireless range of 25m means you can DJ whilst you grill and socialise, and won’t need to leave your phone right next to the bucket so you are free to party. There’s also an AUX option which is perfect if you’d like to let your guests choose the tunes.
The bucket looks quite nice with a frosted white look, and it feels robust. It’s big enough for a few bottles of beer or a bottle of wine, plus the ice to keep things nice and chilled. After dark, the coloured lighting comes into its own and gives a nice chilled mood. When I first saw this I thought the coloured lights were just a bit of extra ‘gimmick’ but once the evening sets in it’s lovely to have some ambient lighting.
The battery is a chunky 1200MAh so it’ll last you a good while between charges. I’ve yet to run it down, but Intempo claim up to 8 hours of play time. It comes with a USB cable for easy charging.
