I don’t think I have every sharpened my knife before. I got a good pair for review and never looked back. They still work, so didn’t see the point of sharpening them.

I love the simplicity of the AnySharp Pro. It’s a palm-sized circular device with a suction pad on the bottom, allowing for hands-free knife sharpening. The lever on the side when pushed down attaches the cup to the countertop. Though I found the material my counter is made from meant it wouldn’t attach.

The clever design element is the angle of the sharpening edges. Set at 20 degrees, this is described as the best angle for sharpening. All it takes is a couple of swipes through the blades and the knife becomes razor sharp.

I tested this on several blades, including a serrated bread knife and after 3 or 4 swipes through, the blades were super sharp. Why not take a look at our other Lifestyle reviews, or find us on Facebook and Twitter.
